Eeva Punta acts as the company's CEO and expert. She assembles the right team for each project from her network.
Eeva is a natural scientist by basic degree and has made her career in industry. For the first 17 years, she served Stora Enso in various environmental, quality and communication roles. In 2004, she founded Linnunmaa Oy, which grew into an expert organization of over twenty people, serving companies in the field of environmental and chemical safety. After selling the company to Sweco in 2018, she joined the company herself. At Sweco she was, in addition to environmental and chemical safety services, responsible for developing biodiversity and bioeconomy services. Most recently, she established a food industry services unit at Sweco. Since the autumn of 2024, she has worked as an independent expert at Pihaniemi.
In addition to her work, she has served as chair of the board of a listed company and as a board member of the university and bank. She has founded four companies, one of which has been sold, one closed down, and two continuing operational. Entrepreneurial experience provides a good foundation for understanding the laws, but also opportunities, of business life.
She has worked as Kiwa Inspecta's contract auditor since 2005 for quality (ISO 9001), environmental (ISO 14001) and occupational, health and safety (ISO 45001) systems in the forest and chemical industries.
Eeva is known as a pioneer: a determined opener of new paths who determently takes changes forward without shying away from details, while keeping focus on the big picture and main goal. She is observant and quick to find solutions.
Eeva is an excellent networker and influencer. She is well prepared for advocacy tasks in Finland.
She has special expertise in toxicology and ecotoxicology, implementation of environmental and chemical legislation, management system standards and communications.
